The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) Solwezi Office, in collaboration with the Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA) yesterday conducted a consumer rights sensitization exercise at Solwezi Mitech Market in continuation of World Consumer Rights Day (WCRD) commemoration and in line with Financial Literacy Week.

The initiative through dance performances, sketches and one on one engagements aimed to raise awareness to the general public on consumer rights and fair trading practices among traders and consumers.

The exercise forms part of ongoing efforts to promote safe products and confident consumers.
