EXPIRED GOODS WORTH K5,785.00 SEIZED IN LUWINGU

Goods valued at K5,785.00 have been seized and disposed of after being found expired during a joint inspection conducted by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) Kasama Office in collaboration with the Luwingu Town Council.
The exercise targeted various trading outlets within Luwingu District to ensure compliance with product safety standards and protect consumers from harmful products.
The Commission wishes to urge traders to regularly check their stock and adhere to set regulations.
Failure to comply with product safety requirements will result in enforcement action, including seizure and disposal of non-compliant goods.
