CCPC LEADERSHIP ATTENDS 97TH AGRICULTURAL AND COMMERCIAL SHOW OFFICIAL OPENING

The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) leadership attended the official opening ceremony of the 97th Agricultural and Commercial Show (ACSZ) held under the theme; Adapting to Climate Change”.

The show was officially opened by the Guest of Honour, the President of the Republic of Botswana, Advocate Duma Boko, alongside the Zambian President Mr. Hakainde Hichilema, symbolizing the importance of regional collaboration.

CCPC Board Chairperson Ms. Angela Kafunda, Vice Chairperson Mr. Sikambala M. Musune, Executive Director Mrs. Eunice Phiri Hamavhwa, and the Director of Legal Services Ms. Marian Mulenga presence underscored the Commission’s commitment to stakeholder engagement as key to promoting fair competition and protecting consumer rights.

The Board Members also interacted with Commission’s Staff as they took time to visit the MCTI One Stop Shop after attending the official opening.
